Trail 2

final product ...cooked for less time but it's still pretty toasty. third trial I'll have to coop it for even less!!

Trial 2

making another change & instead of heating the ditch oven for 30 mins, I'm only going to put it in for the oven to pre heat

Trial 2

just floured the dough, two more hours to sit then I will start cooking it!

Trial 2 -Day 1

I am beginning to work on my second trial of miracle bread! I decided to change a few things.

3 cups of all purpose flour
1.5 cups of warm water
1/4 teaspoon of yeast
1.5 teaspoons of salt

not only am I changing the recipe a little I'm going change how long I ferment it. last time I felt the yeast was pretty strong so I'm going to ferment it for less hours and see if that helps!

I hope this time it tastes as good as the last!

Final #1

I thought my bread came out fantastic for never fermenting before. Although there still will be a few changes to my second try. The bread had great flavor..little too much. So for my next time I am not going to let it ferment as long to hopefully cut back on how strong the yeast flavor was.

Also the bottom on the bread WASN'T burnt, dark golden brown. However that's a little took cooked for my liking, so next time instead of heating the Dutch oven for 30 minutes I think I'm gong to put it in for 20 or so. I also may not cook the bread for as long.

Those are my two critiques to my first fermentation. But overall I would give myself an A+ because the bread was still very good and my family is enjoying ever last bite of it.
